MAYA 13

DREAMSPELL / 13 MOON CALENDAR

Read Dreamspell
as a way of viewing time.

Maya 13 treats the Dreamspell / 13 Moon Calendar KIN system as one way to notice today.

An important distinction

The Dreamspell / 13 Moon Calendar system described here is not identical to historical or traditional Maya calendars. Maya 13 keeps this distinction clear and does not replace cultural or historical contexts with a simplified claim.

01

KIN 1–260

KIN is a cycle numbered from 1 to 260, returning to 1 after 260. Each KIN is viewed as a combination of one of thirteen Galactic Tones and one of twenty Solar Seals.

02

Galactic Tone and Solar Seal

Galactic Tone describes a flow from 1 to 13, while Solar Seal introduces twenty themes. Maya 13 presents their combination as an entry point for reading a KIN’s place and qualities.

03

Wavespell

A Wavespell is a flow of thirteen KIN. There are twenty Wavespells within the 260-KIN cycle, offering a second scale for observing an individual KIN and the thirteen-day flow around it.

04

Oracle

Oracle associates a KIN with four related KIN: Guide, Analog, Antipode, and Occult. It is not a judgment of a person or the future; it is a way to view a KIN from additional directions.

05

GAP

Galactic Activation Portal, or GAP, refers to 52 KIN in distinctive positions within the 260-KIN cycle. Maya 13 marks these KIN as a point of reference.

06

The 13 Moon Calendar and Day Out of Time

The 13 Moon Calendar uses a structure of thirteen 28-day Moons, or 364 days. Day Out of Time is introduced as a special day between Day 28 of the Cosmic Moon and Day 1 of a new Magnetic Moon. In Maya 13, February 29 in a leap year is treated as 0.0 Hunab Ku, outside the regular KIN and 364-day cycles.
