Within the Dreamspell system
The Wavespells described here belong to the Dreamspell / 13 Moon Calendar system. Maya 13 does not present this system as identical to historical or traditional Maya calendars.
01
What is a Wavespell?
A Wavespell is a framework for viewing thirteen consecutive KIN as one flow. It adds a view of where a day sits within thirteen days alongside the individual KIN.
02
Twenty Wavespells within 260 KIN
The 260-KIN cycle can be viewed as twenty groups of thirteen KIN. Each Wavespell is associated with a Solar Seal, and Maya 13 displays the twenty flows from its existing KIN data.
03
Its relation to KIN, Galactic Tone, and Solar Seal
KIN identifies an individual place, while Galactic Tone marks its position in thirteen steps. Solar Seal is one of twenty elements used to view KIN and is also displayed as the theme of a Wavespell.
04
A view of a thirteen-day flow
A Wavespell does not decide whether a day is good or bad. It can be used as a marker for noticing where today sits in a continuing thirteen-day flow.
